Doenjang Soba Noodle Bowl

Sun Hee Doenjang 2 tbsp

Soba noodles, boiled 2 portion

Diced onion 1 handful

Diced peppers handful

Sliced mushroom handful

Chopped garlic 2 cloves

Chive baton for garnish

Julienne spring onions for garnish

Cubed tofu ½ cup

Vegetable oil 2 tbsp

Salt and black pepper as per taste


  1. Place your saucepan on medium-high heat. Add the oil, garlic, onions, peppers, and mushrooms. Sauté for 2 minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Add the tofu and doenjang. Sauté for 1 minute, then add ½ cup of water.
  3. Combine well until the doenjang paste has completely dissolved. Bring the broth to the boil.
  4. Serve hot with Soba noodles and garnish with chives and sesame seeds.
