A Korean style meal kit with sticky rice, teriyaki sauce and sesame seeds. Sun Hee Korean style kit with sesame teriyaki is a delightful culinary package designed to bring the flavours of Korean street food right to your home.

  • Sesame teriyaki cooking sauce

  • Sesame seeds

  • Oil

  • Diced chicken breasts or your choice of protein

  • Finely sliced onion

instructions

  • In a large pot or rice cooker, cook Sun Hee Sticky Rice until tender. Once the rice is cooked, remove it from the heat and let it rest, covered, for 5-10 minutes.

  • Whilst the rice is cooking, heat 1.5 tbsp. sesame oil to a large non-stick frying pan/ wok and heat over a medium heat. Add sliced onion and diced red pepper and cook until translucent.

  • Add diced chicken (or protein of your choice) and simmer until it is thoroughly cooked.

  • Whilst the chicken is cooking, blanche the tender stem broccoli.

  • Add the cooking sauce and stir-fry for 1 minute over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally. Be careful not to overheat or boil the sauce.

  • Divide the rice between 4 bowls or plates, add the broccoli and protein in sauce.

  • Add a fried egg if desired. Just before serving, sprinkle sesame seeds from the meal kit over the dish. Serve and enjoy!

  • SERVING SUGGESTIONS :

  • Serve with your choice of protein, such as grilled or stir-fried beef, chicken, or tofu.

  • You can also add fresh vegetables like bell peppers, broccoli, or mushrooms to the stir-fry for added colour and nutrition.

  • Garnish with chopped green onions, coriander, or fresh herbs for extra flavour. Add Sun Hee kimchi to complement the meal.
