2Bring excitement to burger night with the sweet and spicy taste of Namsan BBQ sauce. These juicy burgers, infused with a Korean-inspired sauce will surely tantalise your tastebuds!
Spicy:
Beef mince
200gGinger and garlic paste
1 teaspoonSalt
1/2 teaspoonCrushed Black Pepper
1/2 teaspoonSun Hee Namsan BBQ sauce
2 teaspoonsRed Onion – finely chopped
1/2Burger Buns
2Cheddar cheese
2 slicesOnion – finely sliced
1/4Large Tomato – finely sliced
1Salad leaves
In a mixing bowl, combine the beef mince, ginger and garlic paste, salt, crushed black pepper, Sun Hee Korean BBQ Sauce and chopped onion. Mix well and let this mixture sit for 5 mins to allow the flavours to be absorbed into the meat.
Divide the mixture into 2 patties.
Use your thumb to make a dimple (indentation) in the top of each patty. “Dimpling” burgers before you cook them helps them cook flat.
Grill the burgers on/ under a medium high grill for 5 mins and flip them over. Grill for another 5 mins until they have reached the desired level of doneness.
While the burgers are cooking; slice the tomato and onion.
Serve the burgers on toasted buns with a slice of cheese, salad leaves, sliced onions and tomatoes.
To finish off, drizzle a generous amount of Sun Hee Korean BBQ Sauce over the burger.
Ideal served with Spicy Korean Slaw, salt & pepper chips and salad.
