  • Sun Hee Udon Noodles - prepared according to instructions on packet.

    1 pack (200g)
  • Vegetable Oil

    2 Tablespoons
  • Red Onion - diced

    1/2
  • Chopped Garlic

    2 Teaspoons
  • Hot Chilli Flakes

    2 Teaspoons
  • Sun Hee Light Soy Sauce

    2 Tablespoons
  • Sun Hee Gochujang Paste

    2 Tablespoons
  • Water

    1 Tablespoon
  • Sun Hee Kimchi

    4 Tablespoons
  • Salt

    1/4 teaspoon
  • Crushed Black pepper

    1 Teaspoon
  • To Garnish:

  • Finely sliced to garnish

    Spring onions
  • Red Chilli – finely sliced to garnish

  • Cook Udon Noodles according to the packet instructions.

  • Whilst the Udon Noodles are cooking, heat the oil in a medium saucepan and add sliced onion and sauté for 2 minutes.

  • Once the onion is translucent; add the chopped garlic and chillies and stir.

  • Add gochujang, soy sauce and water and stir well until the sauce has heated through.

  • Add the drained Udon Noodles to the sauce, stirring to ensure the noodles are covered well in the sauce.

  • Add kimchi, salt, and pepper and stir again to ensure the kimchi is mixed in with the noodles and sauce.

  • Garnish with spring onions and sliced red chilli for added spice.
